The Halperts

In an improv class I took over a year ago my teacher was asking all of us questions to get to know us better. The only thing he wanted was for us to be honest because that’s where true improv is born. When he got to me he asked what’s your favorite TV show? I answered with The Office. When he asked me why I sputtered off something about the writing being great and the awkwardness of it made me uncomfortable in a way I liked. He looked at me and asked me why it really was my favorite TV show over anything else. I blushed and muttered, because Jim and Pam give me hope that you can find your best friend and soulmate in one person. He nodded his head for me to continue. And all I’ve ever wanted is to find my Jim. He smiled and said perfect.
